Feltouch Showcases Innovative and Sustainable Acoustic Designs at Orgatec 2024
Feltouch proudly presented its latest sustainable designs to industry professionals at the Orgatec Office Furniture Fair in Cologne, Germany. The dynamic booth, designed by Studio13 Architects, highlighted the brand’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and functionality.
The Feltouch booth featured award-winning works by prominent designers, including Alexander Rehn’s Zen Collection, the Line Wall Lamp from Ali Berkman’s Sparkle Collection, the Modular Lighting Collection by Boris Berlin, and the Nube Pendant Lamp by Yonoh Creative Studio. The Sea Urchin Acoustic Lighting, designed by Hande Özge Canlıer from the Feltouch Design Team, attracted visitors with its combined acoustic and lighting features. Other notable designs included Yiğit Özer’s Flux (recipient of both the IF Design Award and Red Dot Best of the Best), David Fox’s Pumpkin Lighting, the collaborative Tuana Acoustic Panel and Lighting by U Design and Altun Architects, and Ayça Akkaya Kul’s Ra Collection.

ZEN COLLECTION
Designed by Alexander Rehn
Inspired by the serene simplicity of Zen gardens, the Zen Collection is the brainchild of a vision that seeks to infuse the calm and balance of these ancient retreats into contemporary workspaces.
Each piece in the collection is designed not just to absorb noise but to transform the office atmosphere both acoustically and visually.
Particularly, the pattern gets inspiration from the sand and gravel typical in Zen Gardens, symbolizing the gentle flow of water.
We’ve adapted this concept into our designs, creating elements that not only evoke a sense of calm but also effectively absorb sound.
SEA URCHIN
Designed by Hande Özge Canlıer / Feltouch Design Team
Sea Urchin is a lighting product that combines aesthetic appeal and acoustic performance, inspired by the natural forms of dried sea urchins. The rugged and symmetrical structures of sea urchins have influenced the unique design of Sea Urchin, reflecting notable features of marine life.
Produced from Feltouch’s special felt made from 50% recycled PET, Sea Urchin measures 18 cm in height and 65 cm in diameter. This product embodies an environmentally conscious approach while providing significant acoustic benefits. The design’s concave and convex shapes ensure harmony between the interior and exterior forms, and it supports E27, DALI, and On/Off control systems for various applications.
Sea Urchin meets the need for round and circular felt products through its dual-mold usage option. Its design accommodates different mounting types, including pendant, surface-mounted, and wall-mounted installations, making it suitable for offices, restaurants, hotels, lobbies, educational institutions, and residential spaces.
Sea Urchin reduces reverberation times with its acoustic performance while creating a distinctive atmosphere with its elegant design Sea Urchin, designed by Industrial Designer Hande Özge Canlıer from the Feltouch Design Team, embodies modern and sustainable design principles, bringing a unique aesthetic and acoustic touch to your spaces.
LINE
Designed by Ali Berkman
Inspired by the seamless interaction of light and sound, Line is designed to enhance both the acoustic and lighting needs of modern workspaces. Its glare-free, dimmable lighting adjusts automatically to the presence of users and natural daylight, ensuring the space is always well-lit without requiring manual adjustments.
Each curve and contour has been crafted to engage the senses, providing not just illumination but an experience. Offering both direct and indirect lighting, Line provides flexible solutions for different tasks and environments.
Beyond its lighting function, Line features a sleek, curved form that absorbs sound, creating a quieter and more focused atmosphere. Whether installed as a pendant or wall lamp, Line not only illuminates but also improves the acoustic quality of the space, fostering productivity and comfort.
FLUX

FLUX, where interior acoustic and decorative designs meet with unlimited creativity…
We are able to set the boundaries for interior ceilings and walls The new product of Feltouch Sense Collection FLUX; allows these boundaries to variance freely without dominating the style of the environment. An innovative approach that has no clear boundaries adapts to any environment it access. Flux is designed in 13 unique forms as wall, ceiling, lighting and panel. The form that featured with the suspended ceiling application; brings a different soul for the environment with its lighting integration. Flux, with its ability to create abstract, minimal and ditinguished motifs, allows us to be in flux and takes is to the peak for an ultimate change and creativity as all we are in flux…
NUBE
Designed by Yon Creative Studio
Designed by the Spanish design team Yonoh Creative Studio, Nube means “cloud” in Spanish and features a round form. Nube is formed by the combination of two interlocking molds and can also be used separately. This flexibility allows a single design to bring together three different models, contributing to sustainability.
The outer mold has circular indents that taper upwards, offering a sophisticated look, while the inner mold features a simpler, more minimalistic design. Nube is made by molding PET felt material containing 50% recycled polyester from PET bottles, providing decorative and acoustic benefits in interior designs. Compatible with E27 standard socket types, Nube features UFO-type LEDs with a color temperature of 3200K.
MODULAR LIGHTING COLLECTION

Step
STEP is a pendant modular lighting designed to use different light sources, including retrofit LED light bulbs and LED light tubesThis flexibility permits the STEP to meet any specific interior requirements, such as being used over diverse tables – from cafés to bigger dining and conference tables, from workstations to ambient loft lighting.
Segment
SEGMENT is a pendant modular lighting system. Its concealed LED light source permits the choice of downlight, uplight, or both at the same time.
The modules of the SEGMENT lampshade are moulded in recycled PE felt and have a significant acoustic impact on the room.
SEGMENT’s “dome” shape with the opening at the top, like the dome of the Pantheon, has no visible light source except it, creating the intriguing “empty” cupola in the room—it doesn’t matter if it is used over the table or free as an ambient lamp.
ZERO BRICK
Developed by Feltouch R&D Team
Zero Brick is a product from the Zero Felt collection, derived from the Zero Burn project launched by Feltouch in 2020. Developed in line with Feltouch’s circular economy approach and supported by government institutions in Turkey and the Netherlands, Zero Brick introduces an innovative material for interior design.
This product is manufactured by processing an average of 120 tons of felt waste annually without the use of binders. Notable for its acoustic and decorative properties, Zero Brick repurposes waste that would otherwise be incinerated, thereby reducing carbon emissions and contributing to environmental sustainability. It is the result of extensive R&D efforts.
